Solar Heating Process Florida How it works. The system has two water temperature sensors: one (5) near the pump and filter and another (2) up at the solar collector panels. Whenever the solar collector panels (4) are about four degrees warmer than the pool water temperature, an automatic control system (1) activates a motorized valve (3) to send pool water through the solar collector panels.

Collector Assembly

Headers are molded directly to the extruded absorbers, in two-inch widths. Panels are built in nominal four-foot widths by thermal welding the two-inch molded header together. Absorber strips are sonically welded together for easier handling. Molded corner pieces permit precise connection of panel arrays for error proof, watertight installations.
